Reporting Animal abuse scams in Africa 

Animal and Abuse and Scams have become increasing alarming over the pass years across social media. Across Uganda, Nigeria, and Ghana, fake "rescue" accounts which are not rescue but facilities that are abusing and killing dogs and cats using this abuse and posting on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Signal, and Telegram

These animal abusers and killers are stealing dogs and cats picking strays animals and making them sick abusing the dogs cutting limbs and running them over so they become disabled all for people to donate. The money is not going to the animals but is part to wider global scamming network., ( including the USA UK & across Europe) killing and abusing animals for fraudulent donations .

Many of these scams trace back to Uganda, especially Mityana District, there is zero animal protection or enforcement as well as Nigeria, Ghana and many more african countries.

The problem isn't confined to one platform or one country. In 2024 alone, the public submitted 80,000 links showing suspected animal abuse content across social platforms, and 87.5% o. Nearby, an investigation found endangered wildlife, including pangolins, being openly sold through TikTok in Togo, West Africa

Uganda has now risen into the global top 50 countries for TikTok video and account takedowns, overtaking previous African hotspots like Ghana and South Africa, while TikTok removed nearly 11.9 million videos in one quarter across nine African countries, including Nigeria, for violating its policies
